Several Rutgers information technology services and systems will be unavailable the weekend of August 8 due to scheduled maintenance and upgrades. This work is necessary for the security and integrity of Rutgers IT systems. 

The following information describes the details of the downtime. Additional information, including updates on the completion of these upgrades, will be posted at the Rutgers IT website’s Alerts page.

The PeopleSoft University Human Resources (UHR) and Payroll Systems will be undergoing a planned maintenance beginning Saturday, August 8, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. through Monday, August 10 at 8 a.m.

Employee Self Service, My Paycheck, My Benefits, Absence Balances and Details, and other related UHR and payroll services will be unavailable during this maintenance period. This work is necessary to migrate the systems to a new, more efficient platform.

Sunday, August 9 (Mainframe and Student Record Database) 

Scheduled mainframe maintenance and upgrades taking place on Sunday, August 9, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. will require downtime for several IT services and systems. This work is necessary to ensure the continued integrity and security of information held in the Student Record Database.

The following services may be unavailable during the maintenance period:
